Winchester: we installed it — then moved the inverters up to the roof.

We first installed the system with the inverters in the plant room. About a year later the client decided they wanted the inverters on the roof instead. A tricky job on a working system — but with our engineers, it was done.

The job

Phase 1: our team installed the solar system, with the inverters, isolators and cabling neatly fitted in the plant room. Phase 2, a year later: the client asked for the inverters to go on the roof — so every DC cable needed a new route.

How we did it

We worked from the scaffold in one week in August 2025 — on a live system. New tray across the roof, inverters fitted on frames, cables re-run and tested.

The result

In September 2025 we connected the inverters to the internet. Everything is on, and the live monitoring screen in reception shows the system working.
